Jesus Has Risen<\/h5>\n

\u00a01<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a02<\/sup>\u00a0There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.\u00a03<\/sup>\u00a0His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.\u00a04<\/sup>\u00a0The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.<\/div>\n

\u00a05<\/sup>\u00a0The angel said to the women, \u201cDo not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.\u00a06<\/sup>\u00a0He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.\u00a07<\/sup>\u00a0Then go quickly and tell his disciples: \u2018He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.\u2019 Now I have told you.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u00a08<\/sup>\u00a0So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.\u00a09<\/sup>\u00a0Suddenly Jesus met them.\u00a0\u201cGreetings,\u201d<\/span>\u00a0he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.\u00a010<\/sup>\u00a0Then Jesus said to them,\u00a0\u201cDo not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/div>\n

Go and tell. That’s still His instruction to us today. Go and tell. Tell not only that He died and is now risen; but that we, once dead, are now alive. There is no more important story; no more significant event in world history or in our history.<\/span><\/div>\n

Go and tell: He is risen.<\/div>\n
