Where Was My Money Going?

GPT and ME

I couldn’t sleep last night. When I can’t sleep, I pull out my phone and start scrolling. That led me to think about the many services I have connected with over the years. I have seen these ads for companies promising to find all the monthly payments you have forgotten about and free you from them. I checked out a couple, and they turned out to be just someone else looking to get money from me.

So I cried on ChatGPT’s shoulder and said I wanted to cancel some of the many things I get little and not-so-little bills for each month. For the next several hours, it led me through a process of identifying all these little charges and canceling the ones I didn’t remember, or at least didn’t need. It cost me nothing.

I know AI gets a bad rap, but a good AI can provide some useful services. I know AI services were very helpful in writing the books I just published. I have been writing on my blog since 2007. https://nicksigur.com/AI just helped me organize those thoughts. I have no thought that I will make any real money from the books, but it has been nice to add “author” to my bio. Publishing books has always been a dream for me. Thanks, AI and Jesus, for making that dream come true.

Maybe I will be like a famous painter who only became famous after death. It would be nice if some of me would live on here on earth while I enjoy a better place.

Are you leaving something for the next generation? Is it something your proud of?

I hope so.

Be blessed.

Nick
